Fuel Cells & Batteries
Bipolar plates, flow-field components and current collectors for PEM fuel cells and electrolysers.
Graphite solutions for Fuel Cells & Batteries
Hydrogen fuel cells and lithium-ion battery production both depend on graphite's unique combination of electrical conductivity, chemical inertness, and machinability. In PEM fuel cells, graphite bipolar plates define the flow-field geometry that distributes hydrogen and oxygen across the membrane electrode assembly. In battery production, graphite fixtures and trays are used across formation, calendering, and cell assembly processes.
Expo Advanced Materials machines precision bipolar plates, flow-field components, and battery production tooling from fine-grain isostatic graphite — holding ±0.02 mm channel tolerances across large format plates with full dimensional inspection on every part.
