How to Use EDM Graphite Electrodes Properly

- Dry the Electrode: If the electrode is wet, let it dry before use.
- Check the Electrode: Clean the protective cap and check if the electrode wire is not broken or damaged.
- Clean Threads and Surface: Make sure the inside threads of the hole and the surface of the new electrode are clean.
- Connect Properly: Insert the connector into the electrode hole and attach the electrode expander on the other end.
- Place Carefully: Lay the electrode down gently without hitting it against other parts.
- Align Electrodes: Hang the new electrode above the one you want to connect, keeping the ends about 10-20 mm apart. Use compressed air to clean the connection parts gently.
- Tighten Securely: Tighten the electrode carefully to make sure it is fixed well.
